BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER SERVICES ARE HELD EACH WEDNESDAY AT 11:00AM & 7:00PM. MID-WEEK WORSHIP SERVICE IS HELD ON WEDNESDAY AT 6:30PM. CHURCH SCHOOL AND NEW MEMBERS CLASSES ARE HELD EACH SATURDAY AT 10A. ENCOURAGING ALL TO COME OUT AND LEARN MORE ABOUT GODS WORD.
The Young Adult Society will be meeting on Thursday, September 21st @ 7:00pm. The Young Adult Society is open to all young adults’ of GMV ages 19-39. For information on this ministry please see either Bro. Montese or Sis. Tay.
The Marriage Ministry will resume its monthly meetings on Friday, September 29th @ 6:00pm. We will discuss plans for our upcoming Marriage Conference. The Marriage Ministry is open to all married and engaged couples. To register for the conference or for questions on the ministry, please see Dec. or Sis. Rose. Remember marriage is honorable and divorce is not an option!
The Adult Usher’s Ministry will be meeting on Saturday September 30th at 11:15am. If you would like to assist us in ministering to the needs of GMV’s worshippers, please join us. For more information, please see either Sis. Gwen or Sis. Renita.
We will celebrate our 60th Church Anniversary during the month of October. We will celebrate this momentous occasion each Wednesday evening at 7:00pm and will climax on Wednesday, October 25th. We are asking each adult member for a love gift of $60.00 ($1.00 for each year). Our special guests for the month will be Pastor Chavez Russell and the Greater Friendship Baptist, Bishop Divar Kemp and the New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Herbert Thomas and the Macedonia Baptist Church, Pastor Steven Daniels and the Shiloh Baptist Church and Pastor Jimmy Reed of the Higher Heights Baptist Church of Davenport, IA.
